A famous person once said that the more available you make yourself; the more available everyone will expect you to be. Because we can be contacted at any time it seems that it is perfectly ok for everyone to expect our immediate attention. To make things worse, people now get angry if you don’t immediately answer the phone when they ring. It is like having your own little tracer with you but one that you have volunteered to have, even when you are in the bathroom. I do not think people would mind if the calls they received at late hours were important but the caller never considers the life of the person they are phoning.

I have always believed that as a business tool the verizon cell phone is excellent with many functions to aid busy people. My first thought is why would you want to have that kind of self inflicted accessibility?
